As an affiliate program partner of Benchmark Email, I built and currently maintain a WordPress community plugin, Benchmark Email Lite.
During my employment with Pongos Interactive I primarily focused on this product, and chiefly engineered it, training a few new developers over the past year to contribute to it as projects began expanding rapidly. This product offers single sign on with Abila netFORUM (Association Management System) and WordPress open source CMS.
I am a volunteer Board Member of Shadow Ranch Homeowner's Association. We meet monthly to go over financials, new and old business. We oversee our local Community Manager in dealing with homeowner and vendor tasks in our 44-unit townhouse community. I also manage their WordPress.com website, homeowner email distribution system, and Google Groups (internal) system.
During my employment with Pongos Interactive I worked on two WordPress projects for the National Council On Aging (NCOA).
Top Notch Seats was a client with my consulting business, beAutomated. Their company sells tickets for tens of thousands of events. After initially helping with some ColdFusion updates, we built a Joomla! 1.5 site for them to integrate with a new event data source and eCommerce fulfillment system powered by the TicketEvolution ReSTful API. We later upgraded those custom extensions to Joomla! 2.5.
While at beAutomated, Randy and I collaborated with Zack Katz on his BigCommerce plugin for WordPress. We developed the plugin for a few months between versions 1.2 to 1.5.
All In One Applications was a client with my consulting business, beAutomated. We built a Plugin called Resume Builder that creates the ability for high school students preparing for college scholarships.
O'Loughlin Trade Shows was a client with my consulting business, beAutomated. We built a WordPress Plugin to help a trade show company that operates 12 different regional events. For all of their events, they host a searchable list of exhibitors. This provides exhibitors the ability to log in and maintain their own custom profile, or an extended profile with a Google Map, the ability to upload a logo, product photos, and a video. Monetization was through charges for exhibitors and a little extra for the ability to utilize the extended profile.
Riverside International Wine Competition was a client with my consulting business, beAutomated. We built a Plugin to help them manage their exhibitors, who must submit their information annually.
Marriage Equality USA was a client of my consulting business, beAutomated. We constructed custom logic for their nationwide chapters to manage their own microsite, constituents, leadership/administration, and email distribution.
I worked with a classmate friend on a project called reviewum in 2001. We constructed a successful professor review website using classic ASP scripting and a MS-SQL database.
